The Full Load

The Full Load is a greasy spoon diner that aims to reflect the establishment's nostalgic personality. The brand identity is inspired by the Barbican Laundrette based in London. The brand identity includes a logo, menu, signage, way finding, a mobile app and brand packaging/products that only work for that specific location.

The colour palette is inspired by the vibrant orange formica and turquoise washing machines which appear in the laundrette. The logo itself draws its influence from a dial which appears on most washing machines, as well as the circular door of a washing machine spinning around. The typography used is inspired by the semicircular motifs which appear around the Barbican Estate making direct visual links to the architecture.
